• Level 1 At-Home Charging: This basic method generally requires a standard grounded three-prong outlet. With this method, you’ll only add a few miles of range per hour, and you’ll need days to recharge completely.
• Level 2 At-Home Charging: Most Beachwood-area EV owners will charge up at home with a professionally installed wallbox. Even if you’ve depleted your entire range over the course of the day, you can expect a full charge the next morning if you plug in overnight.
• Level 2 Public Charging: The most common public charging stations offer Level 2 charging capabilities, which are comparable to those offered by the wallboxes described above.
• Level 3 Public Charging: For rapid recharging, Level 3 DC Fast Charging is the way to go. With this method, you can add significant amounts of range in mere minutes.
